Many organizations have started to look at ways to make their services
and workplaces more inclusive by implementing policy and practice
changes around how they deal with people with disabilities.
Organizations recognize that people with disabilities have skills,
abilities and experience that can add value in the workplace.
Organizations may have to provide workplace accommodations for some
employees. Most of these accommodations can be low-cost or no-cost to a
hospital. All people have the right to full access to services, which
include Customer Service, Information & Communications,
Transportation, Employment and Building access.
